Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Foreflag Intelligence collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to foreflag.app and to the Foreflag platform.
1. Who we are
Foreflag Intelligence ("Foreflag", "we", "us") operates the Foreflag platform, an AI-powered intelligence service for private markets, and the website foreflag.app. For questions about this policy or your personal data, contact us at raphael@getforeflag.com.
2. Data we collect
- Contact details you give us. When you request a demo or contact us, we collect your name, work email address, and company name.
- Usage data. When you browse our website, we may collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
- Platform data. When your organization uses the Foreflag platform, we process the portfolio and monitoring data your organization connects, under the terms of your agreement with us and, where applicable, our Data Processing Agreement.
- Communications. If you email us, we keep a record of the correspondence.
3. How we use your data
- To respond to demo requests and schedule conversations with you.
- To operate, maintain, and improve our website and platform.
- To send service-related communications, and - where you have agreed - product updates you can opt out of at any time.
- To protect the security and integrity of our services.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising profiles.
4. Legal bases
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on:
- Consent - for example, when you submit a demo request.
- Legitimate interests - operating and improving our services and communicating with professional contacts, balanced against your rights.
- Contract - where processing is necessary to provide the platform to your organization.
- Legal obligation - where we must retain or disclose data by law.
6. Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy - for example, for the duration of our business relationship with you - and thereafter only where required by law or to resolve disputes. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR for individuals in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland), you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Request a portable copy of your data.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior processing.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email raphael@getforeflag.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and in line with applicable law.
8. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse, including access controls and encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; if you believe your interaction with us is no longer secure, contact us immediately.
9. International transfers
Our service providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards required by applicable data protection law.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be communicated through the website or by email where appropriate.
